RELIGIOUS EDUCATION

For this final term our Come and See themes are:

  1. Pentecost – Serving,  New Life

Within this topic we build upon the wonder and power of the Holy Spirit, as given to the Early Church in Acts. The children will be given experience to know and understand: The wonder and power of the Holy Spirit and the new life of the Easter message is spread through the power of the Holy Spirit. Finally the children will plan another Collective Worship for our rejoice session.

  1. Building Bridges  - Reconciliation, Inter Relating

Within this topic we shall be considering the importance of making choices. We shall explore how friendships help us to build bridges and the importance of admitting wrong and being reconciled with one another and God

  1. God’s People.- Cafod study

For this final topic we shall be learning about Cafod’s campaign called ‘Power to be’ and how they are speaking  up for renewable energy. This is a great way for pupils to learn and apply their learning and give our neighbours around the world the power to lift themselves out of poverty.

We shall also be learning about other faiths. This term we shall study Sikhism.
